Our Beta Club members and several 6th-8th grade students participated in a field trip to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit, Michigan.  The 125,000 square foot museum, founded in 1965, is the world's largest institution dedicated to the African-American experience.  Students, parents, and staff toured the museum exhibits to learn specific details about the rich history of African-Americans.  Our Drake students received several compliments from the Wright Museum staff for being highly engaged and extremely well behaved during the tour.
